Romans 12:1-2 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Luke 6:46-49 “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”
Jesus has to be Lord of your life day after day in your Christianity. You must submit to His leadership in your daily life so that you may have a full and complete deliverance. Yes deliverance is for the desperate! However, in my experiences I have seen that many Christians believe that after they receive deliverance that they can just live the way that they were living before. Ye were bought with a price! We must glorify Jesus Christ in our bodies, before and after deliverance. Yes, there is a measure of relief after the initial deliverance session, however, God may not be finished with you yet. Some Christians receive multiple sessions of deliverance before they begin to be able to walk on their own.
