In the New Testament, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a key theme. It confirms Jesus Christ’s divinity, seals God’s approval on his words and deeds during his mission, and prepares Christians for the coming resurrection.
It is just as harmful to have a neutral attitude toward God as it is to be hostile. It is denounced as a denial of God’s love and of others’ needs.

Many religions supported idol worship in the New Testament world. Idolatry was a major concern for NT writers, particularly Paul.

It declares, however, that God alone is to be feared, and moments of human fear can be opportunities for deepening faith in him.
God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7
Baptism with the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit initiates Christians into realized oneness and communion with the glorified Jesus Christ, thus preparing and enabling them for sanctity and service, as promised by John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.
